Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.*Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.*Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.*Regularly learn and play new sports.—

Sat, 020814

"Clash of Couples Comp"

Our placings: we were "chesty thighs"

Wod 1: 
3k row (swap every 300m)
150 wall balls 
50 pull-ups 
We sucked here. Kellie died. We took 8th, set us chasing rest of day   
Row; I kept 1:35 pace all rounds 
First set of wall balls did 35. Then like 15-20's

Wod 2: complex 
SqT Clean + Front SqT + TnG Squat clean + Jerk
275 - missed the third part, tnG SqT clean 
Kellie got 180. Then time ran out. Had to share weights in time 

Wod 3:
15-12-9
KB Swings (70/53)
Burpee plate hops 
^one partner completes there 15, next partner does there. So forth all way through 
Then into,
15-10-5
Clean and jerk (135/93)
T2b
^ same concept 
Into, 
200 DU
20 HSPU
We won't this one. My clean and jerk were tough. Think injured rib maybe. Kinda same as Milford. They think cartilage is out in ribs near lat. going to get checked. 
Hspu sucked as usual now. 
Need to improve the lighter weight bar work like this. Was dead. 

Final:
2 min max rope climbs : we got 10
Rest :30
Then, 
20 Deadlifts @275 guy
20 box jumps @20 girl
7 bar muscle ups guy
20 DL @185 girl 
20 box jumps @30 guy
5 bar muscle ups girl
We won this. I did all mine unbroken.  Kell broke up her DL. Was hard on her back. 

Good day overall but terrible first wod. Need to work on Kellie for mental aspect of ignoring the sucky feeling, believing and pushing.
